Winghaven Schoolhouse will be having an open invitation learning station for homeschoolers reviewing the impact of the 10th anniversary of the September 11th tragedy.
The event will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 1:00-3:00 pm.
Parents are invited to attend with their children and cycle through a rotation of stations featuring various books and projects related to the events of that day. Light refreshments will be served.
As adults many of us have clear memories of that time a decade ago, but for many of our children it is a vague memory or a history lesson.
Come and spend an afternoon honoring the heroism of our citizens and God's continued sovereignty over all of the events of His world. Share your oral history with your children.
Children will add their handprints to American flag lap quilts to be given as gifts to residents of the Vineland Veterans' Home
Though the event is free of charge, a donation toward material costs will be accepted and pre-registration is required. RSVP to heycrystal@comcast.net for confirmation and directions.
